Where locals actually eat

本地人真正吃饭的地方 · 31 Oct 2026

Skip the tourist food halls. Neighbourhood malls have big aircon food courts, right next to the MRT.

AMK Hub · Red line, Ang Mo Kio

Right next to Ang Mo Kio MRT. Big food court, real heartland vibe, and you pay what locals pay.

Jurong Point · Green line, Boon Lay

One of the biggest neighbourhood malls in the west, connected to Boon Lay MRT. Lots to eat, all aircon.

City Square Mall · Purple line, Farrer Park

Connected to Farrer Park MRT, near Little India. An easy stop for lunch after walking around Little India.

Why go?

Aircon so no sweating in the heat, local prices instead of tourist prices, right next to the station, and it's where Singaporeans eat every day.
